A Portfolio in the Silver Gelatin Process
In 1996 I was asked by the extraordinary physician, Dr. Martha MacGuffie, to document her work with children in Kenya. Most of these children had been diagnosed with AIDS or Burkitt's syndrome, a form of juvenile leukemia. Their dignity and grace have continued to affect my work.
